PlugInGuru MegaMagic Dreams v1 KONTAKT

PlugInGuru MegaMagic Dreams v1 KONTAKT
Take a beautiful single note - now feed that note into a dizzying array of effects including huge 10+ second reverbs and bounce that sound down to a single sample. Now, map that single sample across the entire keyboard and you have a totally new instruments that, while it doesn't sound like instrument, instead something MAGICAL happens and they sound unique, and are a new instrument unto themselves. That my friends was the concept behind this library and I'm thrilled with how it has turned out!

The core of the library is a folder with 104 samples. The number of patches varies because some of the plug-ins don't support velocity switching samples or sample zones. Every library has over 100 presets that map these samples across the keyboard so that you can play them and the sound that comes out of your speakers will lift your heart and inspire you!

The Kontkat 5 version is the flagship version.

!!! NOTE: The FULL Retail version of Kontakt 5 is required and needs to be the latest version - this won't work with the Kontakt player or older versions of Kontakt 5)..... !!!

You end up with new magical instrument unto itself!

GENRES: Any music where magical, expressive and dreamy sounds are needed.

About the Programmer: John Lehmkuhl created a majority of the new Soundsources. Toby Pitman also created a nice number of beautiful guitar and synth sounds that are a part of this library. The BONUS Signature presets plus 30 Multis were also created by John Lehmkuhl.

Library Specifics: This library started as a happy accident which has lead to other happy accidents (with MegaMagic; Pads and Bells / Winds). I have always loved lush reverb on sounds and was working to see if I could figure a way to get sounds that had that lushness – without the huge reverb wash that turns everything to mush if you play a few too many notes.

The CORE of the library is 104 patches that use the new 104 Soundsource samples. On top of those patches, the Omnisphere 2.1 version has 80+ signature patches that have been created by John Lehmkuhl that use these unique new samples in places different than the default CORE library patches.

Modulation Wheel – Like every library you will find here, the Modulation wheel is programmed to change these sounds in noticeable ways so make sure you use it!
Soniccouture Glass Works v.2.0 KONTAKT Soniccouture Glass Works v.2.0 KONTAKT
Glass / Works is a Kontakt player instrument which collects together 3 extremely unusual and rare musical instruments which use glass to generate sound : Le Cristal Baschet, The Glass Armonica, and a set of Cloud Chamber Bowls.

Just locating these instruments was a challenge in itself - the third in the collection, Cloud Chamber Bowls, proved so elusive that after a lot of research and enquiries, we realised that if we wanted to sample some, we would have to build a set ourselves. The first two instruments - Le Cristal and the Glass Armonica, as strange and beautiful as each other - required us to make a trip to Paris, to the studio of Thomas Bloch.

New Features in v2.0
New instrument / samples : Bowed Chamber Bowls. An airy, ethereal sound with realtime harmonic control via velocity or modwheel. 5 round robin samples per note.

New instrument : Cristal SFX. The SFX sound set from the v1.0 instrument rehoused in its own custom interface with the great new KSP 'FOCUS' function : map any sound across the entire keyboard with one click.

New GUI : each Glass Works instrument gets its own unique control interface with custom KSP options setup, dedicated effects page and more.

PlugInGuru MegaMagic Guitars Part 2 for Omnisphere 2 PlugInGuru MegaMagic Guitars Part 2 for Omnisphere 2
With 285 Patches and over 170 new samples, this is a MUST OWN for everybody that loves guitar and owns Omnisphere 2.1 or later!

Jazz Guitar, Stratocaster (from Clean to incredible Distorted to Muted) as well as Phrases, Strums and Note Glide Up and Down samples!

On top of this, AIRWAVE, ExoSun, Jason Schoepfer, MIDIHEAD and even my assistant also added patches to the 100+ BONUS patches which push these guitar samples into AMAZING territory. As with all my libraries, I want you to feel you are getting WAY MORE for your money while providing YOU with the highest quality unique and inspiring sounds!

This is a HUGE library of amazing single sample guitars with a strong emphasis on Jazz and Stratocaster (clean and muted) with a lot of additional unique samples included to add even more realism to your productions. Each of the 87 samples are presented as DRY samples as well as with our unique MegaMagic effects recorded INTO onto the samples. Why so many? Because each time Erick Hailstone played another performance, the sound was totally different. These darn acoustic instruments never play the same note twice – so I decided to include lots of variations and it paid off really well when it came to adding distortion to the Stratocaster especially.

This library covers a LOT of ground from Jazz guitar (clean and chorused) to clean Stratocaster and mutes. We didn’t record the Strat with distortion because distortion doesn’t transpose very nicely. PLUS – the added AMP and DISTORTION effects in Omnisphere 2 are truly amazing. I have never had so much fun with distortion before! On top of this, in between takes, Erick would noodle – he’s an amazing player and these noodlings were all recorded and when going thru the takes to select the samples, I grabbed all of these as well because they were just toooooo coool! I also asked Erick to play bend up and down notes. These are so useful for adding realism to a keyboard guitar track and many of these are from the guitars in MegaMagic: Guitars Part 1. So these 2 libraries compliment each other in truly unique ways. There is no duplication between the 2 libraries – so owning both will give Omnisphere 2.1 and even bigger boost of capabilities in the guitar category!
PlugInGuru OMG! Drums Vol 1 for Omnisphere 2 PlugInGuru OMG! Drums Vol 1 for Omnisphere 2
This is the first Sample Based library that puts 49 modern cutting edge Drum Kits into Omnisphere 2.1. On top of that, I used the Arpeggiator of each drum patch to re-create the basic drum groove from BreakTweaker except now you can play the groove across the keyboard and have certain samples transpose while other samples don't. Really fun.

The icing on the cake is the GROOVE Multis - using the Latch feature in Omnisphere's Multi-Mode, I can implement a "drum machine" where you play a single note and a whole drum groove starts up! Then the rest of the keyboard is available for you to jam with - and I include a TON of really inspiring patches including some created by AIRWAVE - others that are from other PlugInGuru patch libraries and even some custom samples from MegaMagic Dreams and MegaMagic Pads are used to make totally new patches.

Watch the video below - I give you a introduction to how the library works, then cover installation and THEN go thru the step by step process so that YOU can build the drum machine into Omnisphere 2 if you wish.
PlugInGuru MegaMagic PADS Omnisphere 2.1 PlugInGuru MegaMagic PADS Omnisphere 2.1
MegaMagic PADS is all about making beautiful, powerful, happy, sad, omnious, angry emotions... into sounds that you will get goosepimples when playing. well, at least I did. I set up some unique rules for this library to make sure it is 100% origional and unique

• Sounds are created 100% "in the box". There are a bazillion different libraries where people sample all their old analog/digital synthesizers. That's nice. It's been done. So for this library I used: ElectraX, Codex, Nave, Sculpture, Loom, Blue, Wavestation, ES2, Spire, Nemesis, the original Alchemy as my sound pallete.

• I then would mix 1,2 or sometimes 3 sounds together to make the final sound which would then be fed into similar Magical REVERB effects like you hear in MegaMagic Dreams. That's the MegaMagic part of these libraries. You don't need ANYTHING else to have the lush sounds, the ambience is recorded into the sound. This creates sounds like you have truly never played before....

• The samples are up to 20+ seconds long and there are 6 samples to make a single final sound. This is important. For over 25 years I've worked as one of the principal sound designers for Korg. A lot of the Synth PCM in their workstations was created by me. A lot of the Synth pad Patches were created by me. When working with these workstations, I was generally limited to less than 2 seconds for each sample due to memory limitations (these are less critcal now that memory is abundant). So for this library I want the sounds to truly be ALIVE. They go on forever and then they were carefully cross-fade looped so you can't even tell where the loop is at. This way, the sounds are interacting with each other in magical ways that keep the sound alive - you never hear a loop appear no matter how long you hold down a note. The crossfade technique I use records this into the final samples so that these sounds play the same no matter where you load them (as long as where you load them can read loop points correctly).

• I wanted to push the envelope. So I made this library for 5 (yes, FIVE) different Plug-in types! You can be a user of Reason, Logic Pro or use Omnisphere 2.1, Kontakt 5 and even Serum and have access to this library
